Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Milo Boyd (Gerard Butler) is an ex-cop turned bounty hunter who is thrilled when he finds out there is a warrant out on his ex-wife, reporter Nicole Hurley (Jennifer Aniston).
Kitty Cameo: After finding out Nicole is to be his next target, Milo breaks into her house to wait for her. She is then seen walking into a house and they supposedly hear each other. They are seen in separate shots as they sneak forward to find the source of the noises they hear. Eventually Nicole turns a corner and strikes out with a picture frame at what turns out to be a tabby cat. In a still shot it is clear the cat she knocks off the cat tree is actually a fake cat.
When the shot cuts to the real cat, it would appear a trainer dropped the cat into the shot near the bottom of the cat tree. The cat then runs away while Nicole composes herself.
As it turns out, Nicole isn’t even in her house. She is in the house of her friend Jimmy (Adam Rose) and it is his cat she startles. She is next seen trying to coax the cat out from beneath a chair.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t like having picture frames shoved at them.
