Synopsis: A short film utilizing shadow puppets to tell the story of the Jólakötturinn or Christmas Cat of Icelandic legend.

Shadow Cat: The legend of The Christmas Cat is explained that any child not receiving new clothes will become its next meal.

A poor family finds itself targeted by The Christmas Cat when the father is late coming home and with no earnings or yarn.

When the rich people hear about the fate the poor people are suffering, they set out to help.

The moral of the story is very clear; that being generous is always the best measure.
