Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: Sketches in this episode include an opening monologue by Newt Gingrich, a parody of The Wizard of Oz and a funny look at sports broadcasting.
Kitty Cameo: The sports segment focuses on basketball as a trio of NBA referees are interviewed, the joke being everything makes them look super small in the world of the giant basketball stars. They sit on a giant bench and at one point a player comes in and dwarves them. The topper to this gag is when Marv Albert (Dana Carvey) says that things got even more out of hand when a cat got into the locker room. A tabby cat is seen sitting on a bench as the three tiny referees run for their lives. What makes the scene even funnier is the fact that the cat couldn’t look less interested.
Final Mewsings: Cats can’t be bothered with eating referees.
