Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: The Taylor family return from a trip to the Grand Canyon not realizing that autistic son Michael (David Mazouz) has brought home several stones containing evil entities.
Kitty Cameo: In one scene Michael’s mother Bronny (Radha Mitchell) brings him over to stay with her mother Trish (Judith McConnell). Trish owns a handsome Snowshoe Siamese cat named Keensy who approaches the kitchen island.
Michael drops his bookbag containing the stones and it almost lands on Keensy.
Keensy runs into the living room and Michael follows, even though Keensy is growling. Trish suggests Michael leave Keensy alone.
Kitty Carnage Warning! Moments later after a fright, Trish goes into the living room and screams. We don’t see what is happening there but later we find out that Michael was trying to kill Keensy.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t care for grandkids with evil entities as friends.
