Synopsis: Dr. Michael Corday (Glenn Ford) learns compassion when he falls in love with one of his patients named Evelyn (Janet Leigh).

Purr Blur: In one scene Dr. Corday is walking to a tenement building in Spanish Harlem to see a young boy who’s throat is closed up. As the doctor walks down the street, a cat can be seen near a dog by some garbage cans.
