Synopsis: Drew (Carey) misses his carpool with the optimists and also avoids being in an accident with them, leading him to question his purpose on Earth and rekindle his interest in becoming a minister.

Kitty Cameo: Halfway through the episode, Suzie (Angela Dohrmann) comes complaining to Drew while clutching a small calico kitten. She says that Nora (Jane Morris) is trying to steal her kitten while Nora insists she found the kitten in the ladies room.

“He escaped out of my stall!” Suzie explains, “I only put him down for a minute.” “Right, that’s what you said about the UPS man!” Nora retorts.

Drew gets excited at the possibility of using some of the Bible studying he’s been doing to solve the situation, but his reference to King Solomon and suggestion to cut the kitten in half meets with less than enthusiastic appreciation from the women.

“Hey, everybody! Drew’s gone crazy and he’s got a knife!” Nora shouts. “He’s gonna kill a little kitten! Help!” Suzie chimes in. The woman leave with Suzie saying they’ll share custody before adding, “Like we did the the UPS man.”

Final Mewsings: The likely gender of a kitten comes second to setting up a joke about a UPS man.
