Synopsis: A college graduate with a degree in botany (Buster Keaton) is mistaken for an electrical engineering graduate and hired to electrify a millionaire’s (Joe Roberts) home. Enchanted by the man’s daughter (Virginia Fox), our hero takes on the challenge and impresses everyone with his clever inventions, until his rival begins to sabotague all of Buster’s hard work.
Kitty Cameos: When the family is being served dinner via Buster’s ingenious miniature train delivery service, we see the cook in the kitchen preparing the meals to set on the train cars. As the cars run along the track, three kittens watch with interest.
Purr Blur: Later the mother cat can be see walking into the dining room along the track walkway and apparently she sets herself down in the middle of the table. Buster even has to jump high over her when he runs through the room and over the table at one point.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t approve of electrical gadgets which take food into other rooms.
