Synopsis: Sister Bertrille (Sally Field) finds herself answering letters to the lovelorn via a newspaper column entitled “Dear Aggie.”
Cat Burglars (Scene Stealers): At the start of the episode, the sisters, Reverend Mother Superior Placido (Madeleine Sherwood), Sister Jacqueline (Marge Redmond), Sister Sixto (Shelley Morrison) and Sister Bertrille are searching for a lost cat named Delphina. When the wayward ginger tabby is finally found she is lying on the grass with a litter of six newborn kittens.

The nuns pet Delphina as they discuss placing an ad in the paper to find homes for the babies.

Sister Bertrille visits the newspaper office to place the ad but bumps into sports columnist Rickie Malinas (Henry Corden) who explains that he has been filling in for the paper’s absent advice columnist. Sister Bertrille offers a suggestion for one letter before leaving. In the next scene the sisters are with Delphina and the kittens at the convent when Malinas arrives to ask Sister Bertrille to take over the advice column.

Sister Bertrille is unsure until Malinas starts crying. It turns out he is allergic to the kittens but he offers to take them if Sister Bertrille will agree to writing the column. Realizing it may be their only chance to avoid taking the kittens to the shelter, she agrees. The cats do not appear again but the usual comedic misunderstandings ensue as expected.

Final Mewsings: If cats could only write to advice columns maybe they wouldn’t end up pregnant.
