Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: The superheroes of the world are driven into hiding and are leading lives of quiet mediocrity until an opportunity arises for Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) to use his powers again, although he has to keep it a secret from his family.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): In the beginning of the film we see Mr. Incredible in civilian mode on his way to an event when he hears about a robbery which has taken place. He changes into his superhero outfit and races to the scene but is stopped when an elderly woman steps out in front of his car. She points to her cat Squeaker, an orange tabby, who won’t come down from the top of a very tall tree.
Mr. Incredible uproots the entire tree and starts shaking it above the woman, trying to shake Squeaker loose. As the police chase draws closer, he shakes the tree more and more frantically but Squeaker somehow manages to hang on.
Finally Squeaker lets go and drops into the arms of the woman. In the meantime, Mr. Incredible uses the tree to stop the bad guy.
The police, the woman and Squeaker all gather around Mr. Incredible to give him their thanks.
Mr. Incredible thanks them all in turn, including Squeaker, and then runs off to the next hero job.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t think they need to be rescued.
