Synopsis: Miss Giddens (Deborah Kerr) takes on her first job of governess for two lonely children in an isolated mansion which she comes to believe is haunted by an evil presence.
Kitty Cameo: In one scene Miss Giddens goes to the private room of the maid, Mrs. Grose (Meg Jenkins) who is sitting in a chair petting a gray tabby cat.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t mind missing out on the big house dramatics.
