Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: This animated adaptation of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical adds mystical elements and makes a villain out of The Kralahome (voiced by Ian Richardson).
Cartoon Cat: When Anna (voiced by Miranda Richardson) is being introduced to the royal children, Princess Naomi (voiced by Katie Lai) comes running out carrying a Siamese cat. Her mother looks shocked but is too late to stop her.
The King of Siam (voiced by Martin Vidnovic) looks scoldingly at her which makes her stop abruptly, jostling the cat in her arms.
Princess Naomi quickly gives the cat to a nearby guard who sneezes.
As Naomi bows to Anna, a Siamese kitten pops up out of the back of her top, which makes Anna smile. These are the only Siamese cats to appear in the film.
Final Mewsings: You would think there would be more Siamese cats in Siam!
