Synopsis: Press agent Bill Dunnigan (Fred MacMurray) accompanies the body of his friend and client, actress Olga Treskovna (Valli), back to her small Pennsylvania mining hometown and recounts her life while trying to figure out how to keep her one and only film from being shelved.
Purr Blur: In one scene Bill goes to the train station to send a telegram. As he exits the station, a cat is standing out on the platform.
When Bill approaches, the cat runs towards the train tracks and disappears.
Final Mewsings: Cats are always on the right track.
