Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Richard Marshall (Douglas Fairbanks) is a man who comes from a long line of rugged westerners but has lived a soft life in Monte Carlo. He gets a chance to rediscover his roots when he travels to America with a group led by a diamond smuggler (Wallace Beery).
Cat Cattle Call: On the way to Galveston, Texas by boat, Richard ends up making a swim for shore and gets caught up in a fishing net. He comes ashore in a hold full of fish. Later as he walks down the street smelling of fish, numerous cats follow him.
Richard stops at a house to ask directions. When he leaves he scurries past the cats, leaving them behind.
A foreign poster for the film even illustrates this specific scene.
Final Mewsings: Cats know when something smells fishy!
