Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A renegade named Gabriel Yulaw (Jet Li) discovers he can grow stronger by killing other versions of himself. If he can just kill Gabe Law (also Jet Li) then Yulaw will become The One.
Kitty Cameo: Gabe Law is a Los Angeles police officer. When Yulaw comes after him, the police think Gabe has gone rogue. They go to his home to try to catch him. Two officers enter the garage and hear something moving. As they approach, a ginger tabby cat leaps out at them in true Spring-Loaded Cat fashion.
The cat then runs through the back yard with the officers following. The cat is not seen again.
Final Mewsings: Cats weren’t put on earth just for jump scares.
