Synopsis: Green Beret Sgt. Johnny Gallagher (Gene Hackman) is sent back to the U.S. with a prisoner (Tommy Lee Jones) who escapes and sends Gallagher scrambling to prevent an assassination attempt.

Kitty Cameo: At the beginning of the film, Russian soldiers storm into an apartment building in East Berlin to arrest an American soldier. A calico cat is looking down from the stairs as they enter.
