Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: This low-budget independent film follows Eléonore (Eleonore Hendricks), a young woman living in New York with a compulsion to steal.
Cat Burglars (Scene Stealers): In one scene Eléonore steals a bag from a man unloading his fancy car. When both the man and his driver turn their backs she walks off with a bag that was meant as a surprise for the man’s daughter. When Eléonore gets the bag home she finds it contains not only a dog (which she deliberately lets out of her apartment) but a bunch of kittens.
She pulls out a gray kitten and names it Smokey. Another tabby kitten she calls Anthony.
Kitty Carnage Warning! For some strange reason she tosses these first two kittens onto her bed. The bed is not very close and there is a soft padding on it but still, there doesn’t seem to be any reason why she should throw them.
Eléonore lies down on the bed with the kittens.
Finally we see her sleeping with the kittens on the bed with her. After this scene the kittens are not seen again.
Final Mewsings: These scene stealing kittens were the real thieves!
