Synopsis: Simon Templar aka The Saint (Roger Moore) finds himself investigating a ring of counterfeiters.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Some of the action of the episode takes place in a Paris club called La Chatte Enragee (The Angry Cat).

A man named Alzon (Philip Madoc) is part of the counterfeiting ring and works at the club. He is first seen on the phone with the Countess. Beside him is a white Persian cat named Chou-Chou.

Later in the episode Simon has sneaked into the club and is listening to a conversation between Alzon and Carl (Derek Newark). He hears a noise behind him and Cho-Chou appears, coming in through a fan opening.

Chou-Chou walks near Simon who reaches down and picks up the cat, motioning for him to be quiet.

Simon makes a noise so that Alzon opens the door for Chou-Chou, whom he explains comes in from a night of carousing. Simon helps Chou-Chou through the door with a little push of his foot.

Alzon picks up the cat as he and Carl continue their conversation. When finished, Alzon sets Chou-Chou on a chair and the men leave.

Simon then enters the office and heads for the safe, pausing to give the cat a little pet.

Simon opens the safe, finding the counterfeit money. As he takes some of the money he sees the cat eyeing him from the chair.

“Don’t look so superior, Chou-Chou,” Simon scolds, “I had a good time last night, too. And tonight’s going to be even better when I get my claws into the Countess duBoise.”
