Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: Both halves of this episode were also combined and released as a film. The typically unflappable Simon Templar (Roger Moore), aka the notorious Saint, loses a little bit of his aplomb when tackling the cold-blooded and merciless Mafia chieftain Alessandro Destamio (Ian Hendry).
Kitty Cameo: As Templar prepares to break into a family crypt in an effort to discredit Destamio’s Sicilian heritage, he is distracted when a meowing grey graveyard cat knocks over a vase.

Purr Blur: While running from mob thugs, Templar spots a bus heading to Palermo. A ginger and white cat, as well as two dogs, are lazing in the road ahead of the bus. The cat has the sense to move away well before the bus poses any threat, unlike one of the dogs who literally stays put until the bus is practically on top of him.

Final Mewsings: Both Simon Templar and cats have enough sense to run when danger is near.
Many thanks to Mark Murton for also spotting the second cat in this episode.
