USA Title: Her Family Jewels
Directed by: Martin Campbell
Synopsis: In this better-than-most British sex comedy, pulp paperback writer Grant Henry (David Warbeck) moonlights as a masked jewel thief who, while usually caught in the act, escapes justice by luring his female victims to bed. With the police floundering, seductive insurance investigator Judy (Diane Keen) sets out to beat the thief at his own game.
Kitty Cameo: Lady Florinda Prescott (Susan Glanville) is home alone and has just finished a phone call when her longhair white cat runs in and she scoops the kitty up into her arms.

Walking into the bedroom still cradling the cat she is surprised to find herself face to face with the titular thief. Screaming out, she drops the cat.

The cat immediately runs out of both the scene and the film.

Final Mewsings: The cat probably made a quick exit for fear of becoming the subject of a predictable pussy joke.
