Synopsis: The skull of the infamous Marquis de Sade causes grief for collectors of the macabre.

Kitty Cameo: The first scene of the film takes place in a graveyard were a phrenologist named Pierre (Maurice Good) is having a couple of graverobbers dig down to the Marquis’ coffin. A classic patterned gray tabby is stalking just beyond the fence of the graveyard.

As the camera pans left to reveal the graverobbers in the background the cat crosses past the swinging gate and disappears from the movie.

Final Mewsings: Cats are smart enough not to mess with the remains of twisted people.
