Synopsis: Elmer Fudd plays an ambitious Cupid who is determined to give the love bug to Daffy Duck whether he wants it or not in this Merrie Melodies short.

Cartoon Cat: One scene opens with a black and white cat being chased by a bulldog.

The bulldog leaps at the cat mid-run and the two are fighting in a blur when Cupid’s arrow flies in and hits the dog.

The dog, who has the cat’s head in his mouth, suddenly has a change of heart and starts wooing the cat, saying he loves him and wants to marry him.

The cat, taken aback, gives the classic cartoon line, “Now I’ve seen everything!” and proceeds to not only shoot himself in the head but shoots through his nine lives as well.
