Synopsis: In 1999 Los Angeles, multibillion-dollar computer enterprise owner Hannon Fuller (Armin Mueller-Stahl) has created a virtual reality version of 1937 Los Angeles. When Fuller is murdered, his friend and protégé Douglas Hall (Craig Bierko) finds himself the prime suspect and has to enter the 1937 simulation in order find the truth.
Purr Blur: Fuller lives a hedonistic double life in the 1937 version of LA, and after a night on the town he returns to his wife and their dowdy apartment. He enters to the sound of a cat crying. Looking across to the sofa he sees the longhair cream tabby crying at him again while also swishing its tail in annoyance. Fuller goes into the bedroom where his wife informs him that they are out of cat food again. The cat is on screen for mere seconds.

Final Mewsings: Even computer-generated cats expect to be fed on time.
