Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Burning with irrational jealousy, sexually inadequate religious tract publisher Hugh Carliss (George Sanders) murders his persistently promiscuous wife, uncontrollable actress Gina Bertini (Gianna Maria Canale), and frames sexually assured movie producer Max Poulton (Stewart Granger) for the understandable but unacceptable crime.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): At the very beginning of the movie, while the opening credits roll, a very friendly policeman performing his evening rounds is greeted by an equally friendly black cat.
