Synopsis: James West (Robert Conrad) and Artemus Gordon (Ross Martin) investigate the mysterious circumstances surrounding a ship being sunk by a dragon torpedo in San Francisco.

Purr Blur: At the beginning of the episode James is walking down a dark San Francisco street. He pauses to look at a pin in the shape of a mermaid. Suddenly a black cat jumps off a barrel, knocking over a tin cup, and runs away.

Final Mewsings: Even cats know not to mess with James West!
