Synopsis: Based on the true story of baseball great Grover Cleveland Alexander and his battle to play ball despite serious health problems with help from the love of his life, his wife Aimee (Doris Day).

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): In one scene late in the film, Grover suffers another fainting spell on a city street.  He stumbles into an alley where he collapses.  A policeman walking by the alley does not notice him.  But an orange tom cat appears from a doorway and hurries to the prone figure.  The cat sniffs at him a moment then scurries over top of him to run away.

Final Mewsings: Maybe the cat went to fetch help.  Who can say?
