Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A group of teens spend Spring Break at a cabin which is soon invaded by killer creatures in this comedy horror film.
Kitty Cameo: Mike (Craig Peck) is in the basement with Stacey (Bonnie Bowers) who is yelling at him. A silver Siamese mix cat suddenly drops down out of nowhere with a loud screech into her arms. She smirks about Mike being scared by a cat.
Stacey carries the cat back upstairs with her, leaving Mike to fend for himself.
Later Nick (John Carhart III) is attacked by the creature which is taking out all of his friends. He climbs out of the rubber puppet creature’s reach then spots the cat sitting nearby.
Slight Kitty Carnage Warning! Nick grabs the cat and throws it at the creature. At least the cat has the sense to run away after this happens.
The end credits include a note about how no animals were hurt during the making of the film and adds that “Peter the cat is living happily in the Kims’ home.”
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t appreciate being thrown at monster puppets.
