Synopsis: Soon after Liverpool gang member Dave Wyman (Frankie Vaughan) wins a singing contest he is called up for National Service where he clashes with another soldier.

Purr Blur: As the police close in on the AWOL Wyman he escapes through a window into a back alley surprising a cat sitting there.

At first he runs away from the cat but then turns and heads back towards it, prompting the panicked cat to run under a fence until he passes and then emerge again to head in the opposite direction at speed.

Final Mewsings: Not all Cinema Cats want to be film stars.
