Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: “Bruce” (Johnny Yune) is a Korean butler to a mob boss who inadvertently gets caught up in the dirty dealings when he is constantly mistaken for Bruce Lee.

Kitty Cameo: The mob’s Boss of Bosses (Tony Brande) holds a conference call with the all of his underlings. During the call, the Boss is holding a white cat.

Threatening his men, the Boss suddenly reaches into a fish tank and pulls out a goldfish. You think he is going to feed the fish to his cat, but he eats it instead, as if to emphasize his threat that he’s going to turn his men into sashimi.

This is not only a spoof of The Godfather, in which Vito Corleone is sitting with a cat in his lap while conducting business, but also of Blofeld’s character in the James Bond films who was usually seen with a similar white cat. A musical riff like the Bond theme emphasizes the parody.

Final Mewsings: It isn’t nice to eat fish in front of your cat and not share.

Many thanks to Ben Saddington for letting us know about the cat in this film.
