by Ted Davis
Directed by: George King
Synopsis: Cliched British-made WWII propaganda movie about the gallant French resistance to Nazi tyranny, with John Clements as the beret wearing Jean Baptiste, a particularly dunderheaded hero, and the beauteous and exotic Greta Gynt, who fares much better as Marie Duchesne, the mayor’s daughter who is accused of collaborating with the occupying enemy.
Purr Blur: A black and white moggy crosses the town street as the nighttime bell tolls.

Final Mewsings: The kitty was conducting reconnaissance for the fabled French Underground.
