Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: John Munn (Dermot Mulroney), a widower, lives in a house in Georgia with his two sons, Chris Munn (Jamie Bell) and Tim Munn (Devon Alan). Deel Munn (Josh Lucas), John’s brother and the boys’ uncle, arrives unexpectedly after being paroled from prison. John has some Mexican gold coins Deel wants and plans to get, no matter the cost.

Kitty Cameos: A series of events has Chris and Tim on the run from Deel, who is after the coins they have taken with them. Near the end of the film, the boys are taken to a homeless encampment by a girl named Violet (Shiri Appleby). As they enter the camp, Violet points out a man named Gus (Damian Jewan Lee) to Tim. Gus is holding a very scraggly looking cream-colored Persian. A tabby and white cat is sitting in a cat trap cage beside him while a brown tabby sits nearby.
