Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Lobbyist Colin Miller (David Chisum) finds himself a target in his own home when a psychopath with a grudge takes advantage of a high tech security system to threaten to set off a bomb in the house.
Featured Feline: Colin owns a tuxedo cat named Mr. Snuggles. Mr. Snuggles first shows up early in the film after the security system has been set up.
Colin picks up Mr. Snuggles and snuggles him for a moment.
While Colin is on the phone with his mother, he plays with a green laser pointer, letting Mr. Snuggles chase it.
Later when Colin’s daughter Samantha (Emma Rayne Lyle) has been dropped off she is holding Mr. Snuggles.
Mr. Snuggles is not seen again until a bit later after Colin is aware of the danger he and his daughter are in. He is standing by the kitchen when Mr. Snuggles appears. Colin asks the cat if someone had been in the house the other day. Mr. Snuggles walks away and Colin sighs that he should have gotten a dog.
Kitty Carnage Warning! Colin then takes a chance and opens the doors to the outside. As she stands in the doorway, a red laser pointer from a distance aims at him. The laser moves past him and Mr. Snuggles appears and starts to chase the red dot across the floor.
Unfortunately a moment later a shot rings out and Mr. Snuggles is dead on the floor. Mr. Snuggles was played by cat actor Oreo.
Final Mewsings: Why does the cat always get it first in these movies?
