Synopsis: Quirky teenager Dinky Bossetti (Winona Ryder) becomes convinced she is the offspring of movie star Roxy Carmichael, whose return to her small town is highly anticipated.
Purr Blurs: Dinky cares for numerous animals she keeps at an old boat. These include a few cats, which are really only in the background. A long-haired orange tabby and another dark tabby are lying on the boat itself.
In another scene Dinky holds a little grey and white tabby while talking to the other animals. It is so far away it is hard to see. When Dinky realizes one of the dogs is missing she drops the cat and runs off looking for him.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t like being the overlooked part of the menagerie.
