Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: One of the Wonder World of Science educational films in which Wonder Cat asks questions about the Sun.
Cartoon Cat: Wonder Cat is the featured character in these shorts who wonders aloud and is answered by an all-knowing voice.
In this outing, Wonder Cat is looking at the night sky and wonders what the brightest star could be. The voice tells him about the stars and planets and how to tell the difference.
This leads to a discussion about the Sun. The voice warns Wonder Cat not to look at the Sun, not even with sunglasses on.
Wonder Cat then asks about night and day and the discussion turns to shadows.
By explaining shadows, the voice is able to make Wonder Cat understand how the Earth rotates in and out of the Sun’s light.
Since it is night, Wonder Cat says its time to go to sleep.
Final Mewsings: It must get tiring for a cat to wonder so much.
