Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A wild romp in which University Professor David Wilson (Tony Curtis) is convinced by his friend Michael Haney (Dean Martin) to pose as an FBI agent to get off the hook after his wife (Janet Leigh) catches a girl kissing him.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): After a lot of zany consequences brought about by their lies, David and Michael find themselves in the basement of the Empire State Building. Only they think they are on a Russian submarine and decide to sabotage it. They break pipes and end up flooding the basement. During all of this, a kitten is seen floating by on a board. The kitten was not shown in the basement before and there’s no explanation as to why it is even there.
At the end of the film, the same kitten is seen, sitting safely on a pipe but now drenched.
Final Mewsings: Kittens show up in the strangest places in movies!
Many thanks to Ted Davis for letting us know about the cat in this film!
