Synopsis: American soldier Matt Dyson (Richard Gere) arrives in England during World War II and falls in love with a shopkeeper’s daughter named Jean (Lisa Eichhorn).

Kitty Cameo: A long-haired tuxedo cat is seen several times in the shop throughout the film.
