Synopsis: Film director Agnès Varda takes a loving look back at the career of her husband and fellow director Jacques Demy.

Reality Cats: Agnès is seen sitting with a gray tabby cat as she explains her purpose in making the film.

She goes on to explain how Jacques used to live with her and their children and cats like Brumaire and Zgougou. Old black and white footage of a black cat is seen, who may be Brumaire.

Zgougou is the gray tabby beside Agnès.

Later in the film as Agnès explains about the giant cat throne which appeared in the film Donkey Skin, Zgougou is on the table in front of Agnès and walks in front of her during the shot.

Final Mewsings: Cats know how to upstage directors.
