Cartoon Cat: Mr. Stickler warns the boys about his persistent cat named Max, instructing them that under no circumstances should Max be let inside the house since he would like to eat the rare bird named Prince Rupert.
Mr. Stickler puts Max outside.
Ted accidentally leaves the front door open so moments after Mr. Stickler leaves the dudes find out Max has already eaten the bird.
The episode consists of Bill & Ted traveling through time to replace the rare bird. At the end of the episode they have replaced Prince Rupert and Mr. Stickler is pleased. Later Mr. Stickler calls the boys back over to show them something amazing. As they enter the house, Ted leaves the front door open again.
Mr. Stickler shows them that Prince Rupert has laid an egg. Bill & Ted realize they brought the wrong sex of bird. But Max doesn’t mind.
Max goes on the attack, anxious for another hoopoe meal. In the end we hear the cat attack off screen and a belch, indicating that Princess Rupert went the same way as the original bird.
