Synopsis: Gas station owner Blacky Gorman (Joel McCrea) overlooks the sure love he has in Marje Harris (Ginger Rogers) and falls for a rich society girl instead.

Purr Blur: Early in the film Blacky is seen driving up to the cottage he has purchased. As his car pulls into the driveway, a black cat can barely be seen running in the other direction.

The cat pauses behind something as Blacky gets out of his car, then continues off screen.

Final Mewsings: Cats don’t bother with fickle men.
