Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: Charlie Chan (Sidney Toler) tracks down potential saboteurs in Panama.

Kitty Cameo: In one scene Charlie Chan follows his number two son Jimmy (Sen Yung) to the room of a doctor name Grosser where Jimmy had earlier found some lab rats infected with bubonic plague. Upon entering the dark room, they hear a strange noise which Jimmy guesses might be the monkey he saw before. But it is actually a black cat sitting on a desk.

“That’s no monkey!” Jimmy cries as a black cat runs across a desk nearby. “Honorable pussycat,” Charlie Chan points out.
