Synopsis: Paul Gregory (George Nader) is a confidence man in London who steals a valuable coin collection from a woman, sells it to a coin dealer for cash, and puts the cash in a safe deposit box. Paul loses the safe box key to his partner whom he accidently kills and now has the police after him for murder.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Paul seeks help from Sullivan (Harry Corbett), a local gangster, who allows him to stay for one night with a woman friend Rosa (Andree Melly) at Rosa’s apartment. Paul looks out the apartment window and sees a cat walking across the street before he falls asleep.

The next morning the large fluffy calico cat walks along a wall while two police cars arrive.

The cat enters the apartment through a window, waking up Paul who looks out the window, sees the police cars, and flees.
