Synopsis: Johanna Ransaller (Mary Pickford), being the only girl on her family’s farm and thus finding a majority of the household chores falling to her, wishes for a beau, only to be surprised when an army regiment of soldiers end up making camp in their fields.
Kitty Cameo: Early in the film, Johanna finally finishes her chores after a grueling day of work and gathers up a tuxedo cat to put him outside for the night.
Final Mewsings: When a person’s day is ending, a cat’s has only just begun.
