Synopsis: Farmer’s son David Shields (Gordon Jackson) decides to become a ship designer instead of following the family tradition.

Purr Blur: At the end of his first day at the shipyard, David goes with new workmate Brogan (Jimmy Logan) to his digs where he’s been told he can stay. As they approach the house a small cat or kitten can be seen in the gutter feasting on something put there to keep it from running off.

The cat remains in place as they enter the building.

Final Mewsings: It takes a lot to distract a cat from a meal.
