Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: English professor George Falconer (Colin Firth) finds his life in 1960’s Los Angeles difficult to bear after the loss of his love.
Purr Blur: George lives next door to a typical but annoying nuclear family. As he is trying to read on the toilet, he hears a banging coming from next door. He looks out the window to see the little girl pounding on a scale with a hammer while holding a small white cat. The cat is only on screen for a few moments.

Final Mewsings: Cats don’t like to be held while people are hammering.
