Synopsis: Jamie (Sam Heughan) finds himself in a worsening situation between using his militia to carry out Governor Tryon’s orders and protecting his friends in the Regulators.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Near the end of the episode Jamie is escaping from an inn out a window. When he reaches the street below he is hiding from those outside when he hears a small mew. Near him is an adorable British Shorthair kitten. “Not a word or I’ll throttle ya!” Jamie warns.

When Jamie returns to Fraser’s Ridge, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) rushes out to meet him. She is hugging Jamie when he warns her to be careful and pulls the kitten from his pocket. He explains to Claire how he found the kitten surviving on insects and earthworms and that they took an instant liking to each other.

Jamie has named the kitten Adso after his mother’s cat who looked the same. Claire is immediately smitten and suggests getting the kitten some milk.

Claire does give Adso a saucer of milk at the end of the episode.

Adso the kitten, a character adapted from the original stores, is played by a British shorthair named Bear and immediately won over the hearts of Outlander fans everywhere. You can follow Bear on Instagram.
