Synopsis: Tough police detective Mike Carter (Lawrence Tierney) quits his job to avoid being fired for insubordination and gets hired as a bodyguard to the owner of a meat packing plant whose life has been threatened.
Kitty Cameo: Mike’s fiancĂ© Doris (Priscilla Lane) sneaks into the packing plant to find information about what is happening there. She accidentally knocks down a spool of string and a man hears and approaches her to investigate. As she hides, he sees a tabby cat near the spool.
The cat scurries away and the man closes the door leading outside and moves away.
