Synopsis: Another entry in the popular British movie series, this time set around a dating service run by Sidney Bliss (Sidney James) where various couples are paired with comedic consequences.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): In one scene the recent ugly-duckling-turned-swan Jenny Grubb (Imogen Hassall) brings home Terence Philpot (Terry Scott) and is surprised to find a black cat lying on the sofa.

“It’s the porter’s darn thing, always sneaking in here,” she explains, picking up the cat.

As Terence watches, she carries the cat to the door and drops it outside, saying, “Shoo, Cooking Fat! Shoo!” “Cooking Fat?” Terence gasps incredulously, “They can’t call it that surely.” “Well, that’s what it sounds like,” Jenny states.

And we’ll just leave that joke right there. (It helps if you read the cat’s name with a British accent.)

Final Mewsings: At least this was more clever than the standard “pussy” joke.
Many thanks to Nick Wale for letting us know about the cat in this film.
