Catnip: Egress to Oblivion? (2012)

Synopsis: A brilliant parody of educational marijuana warning films explores the effects and dangers of catnip and its growing popularity among the feline population.

Cat Cattle Call: Many many cats appear in this film, some being interviewed about their personal experiences with “nip.”

The cats are shown in various states during their interactions with the powerful stimulant. The narrator (Terry Easley) strongly warns that it is impossible to predict the reaction a cat may have to these “certain substances.”

Most of the cats would seem to be strongly in favor of catnip use with no real dissenters being represented.

The cats who were recruited for this important PSA were Bastion, Boo, Cayenne, Colette, Ellie, Fiona, Frankie, Gibson, Hawthorne, Jack, Jimmy, Johnny, Johnny II, Jules, Katie, Ken, Kingston,Luciano, Maddux, Miles, Nova, Pookie, Rocket, Sharona, Wilbur and Zoe, all of whom received screen credit at the end.

Final Mewsings: Cats can’t bring themselves to just say no to nip.
