Synopsis: The story of two very different aspiring dancers in the same troupe; Judy O’Brien (Maureen O’Hara) who wishes to dance ballet and Bubbles (Lucille Ball) the golddigger who seeks her claim to fame doing burlesque.

Purr Blur: Late in the film Judy is returning home after being out all night with Jimmy (Louis Hayward).  As they walk down the empty New York street a white cat emerges from one building and hurries across the road, disappearing again.
