Synopsis: Porky Pig stops at a hotel run by Daffy Duck which promises a room for just one dime per night, but of course there’s a catch. All voices were provided by the incredible Mel Blanc.
Cartoon Cat: As Porky settles into his lush room, Daffy sends a mouse inside via pneumatic tube along with a stalk of celery and a shaker of salt. The mouse starts munching noisily on the celery, keeping Porky awake. When Porky complains, Daffy shows up at his room with a very butch looking ginger and white cat in tow.

Porky tries to pull the cat into the room but Daffy informs him that there will by a charge of five dollars which Porky reluctantly pays.

Daffy releases the cat into the room and the mouse comes running into Daffy’s trap.

Porky gets ready to go back to bed but finds the cat has laid down there instead.

The cat digs in his claws and refuses to move no matter how much Porky pushes and pulls.

Porky then grabs a board and places it under the cat and jumps on it, attempting to pry the cat off the bed, but the action only sends Porky flying up into the ceiling.

Calling Daffy again for help, this time he shows up with a boxer dog and charges Porky ten bucks (you can see where this is going!) Porky pays and Daffy releases the dog who scares the cat out of the room.

Final Mewsings: It’s cheaper just to learn how to sleep in a bed with a cat.
