Synopsis: Originally filmed in 1968 but not released until 1973 as a TV movie. Moab, Utah rancher Rob (Burt Reynolds) hires out as a driver to a visiting Hollywood production company filming a pretentious western (Blue, 1968) in the local environs starring Terence Stamp, Joanna Pettet and Ricardo Montalban, and has a brief and bittersweet romance with assistant film editor Jean (Barbara Loden).
Kitty Cameo: Jean washes the dishes and Rob dries them as his tabby and white cat devotes himself to eating his meal on the window sill over the sink.



Final Mewsings: The romance with Jean may have been brief, but Rob still has his cat.
